I agree!!!

Considering that everyone thinks he's clueless, I would agree with him publicly ;)

Iwata was a genius when the Wii and DS were hits, but the moment things go bad he becomes a poor CEO.
It`s true that 3DS didn`t start as Nintendo wished but a year later 3DS started to be sold at a profit again.
Wii U might be doing bad, but if the software sales are good enough the machine might even be making a small profit.

When this generation is over, Iwata will probably said that this generation made Nintendo more money despite the rough start of 3DS and Wii U.
Can MS and Sony say the same?

Add me! :)

he is such a complete moron its not funny anymore at all, all the ppl including this moron doubting nintendo are the ones who will be singing a different tune in time, like they always do when it concerns nintendo. he is always forgetting the big group of the consumer base that nintendo targets and almost all the time, backs nintendo and thats the parents, as long as they continue to back nintendo then they are fine for a very long time...

I disagree with Pacther on this one, Nintendo is making a lot of money with very little effort for a looooooong time, to me that is good management right there.

See New Super Mario Brothers: Those games cost like nothing, and make hundreds of millions, also, the 3DS caught like wildfire after a rough start.
Nintendo fights against all the tendencies and somehow comes on top, to me this is magic, or, good management.

And I say that as a PS3 big fan.

I can't take him seriously after reading something like this, in light of all the excitement and buzz we saw before and after the PS4 was announced. Not to mention how you had Ubisoft saying outright that the current gen has gone on too long. I just can't.

:D

I disagree with the statement itself but Nintendo are no doubt headed for places they won't thrive, losing money, rising development costs (Nintendo games are HD as well now), competing in markets and areas where they have no pedigree and/or credibility (gadgets to compete with tablets and phones, online features, connectivity etc).

I guess the CEO will prove his mettle in these coming years, with the Japanese tradition for honor, I find it quite likely that a few Nintendo higher up's will go if things don't improve within a reasonable amount of time.

As for Pachter though, the man is a tool, his speculation and silly antics discredit the few valid points he ever makes (there aren't a whole lot of them).

If Nintendo’s business is trying to make a profit, once they conclude they aren’t going to make any money on hardware, of course they should exit the hardware business.

So why the hell haven't Sony and Microsoft left the hardware business yet, Einstein?

lol before calling others bad he should look at his "success" first

Until he gets good at what he does he should shut up!
