I disagree with the statement itself but Nintendo are no doubt headed for places they won't thrive, losing money, rising development costs (Nintendo games are HD as well now), competing in markets and areas where they have no pedigree and/or credibility (gadgets to compete with tablets and phones, online features, connectivity etc).
I guess the CEO will prove his mettle in these coming years, with the Japanese tradition for honor, I find it quite likely that a few Nintendo higher up's will go if things don't improve within a reasonable amount of time.
As for Pachter though, the man is a tool, his speculation and silly antics discredit the few valid points he ever makes (there aren't a whole lot of them).
