like 2-4 months, i only was interested in the sales, but since i started reading the threads i saw there was fun to be had :D

Several months (at least 3). I think the reason I finally decided to join was that I noticed that a fair number of people were writing interesting, researched forum posts. I have not seen that on any other forum, on any topic, anywhere. Clearly, having ready access to the data promoted a better quality of posts.

As the posts improve in quality, more people will want to join rather than just lurk and look at the numbers. I think by continuing to improve the access to data (charting options, comparisons, predictions tied to the database, etc.) you will expand the user base.



5-6 months, but it would have been less if my first try at signing up worked. For some strange reason it was like the site was overloaded. I eventually had to get on board though.
