Has anyone played starfox on the ds. I was so looking forward to it and after playing for 1/2 an hour I turned it off. Why did they change the way the game plays.

I liked the original and the 64 version but never played the gamecube but have heard bad things about it one so hopefully they go back to the original style.

I can't argue about star fox with a guy who has fox as his avatar and his sig, it's not going to end well.

Well I'll end the argument with this: I really want a Star Fox game on the Wii. I think it should be made by Nintendo. If made, the game could be amazing. But just because you don't particularly like a certain series, doesn't mean a sequel shouldn't be made. Like I said, there are still a lot of Star Fox fans. and if the game is made, and if it is amazing and gets good reviews, I can see it selling over 1,000,000. No one will force you to buy the game. and if made, there just may be a chance that you'll enjoy the game a little if you would at least give the game a chance.

How can you guys hate Starfox 64?

Wow, take a knife to my heart why don't ya.

That game invented rumble, and is one of my favorite flight games of all time, period.

It's like a 10/10 in my memory and I played it a hundred hours.

Starfox 64 was by far one of the best games of that generation. Unfortunately the Starfox franchise has dropped a bit in quality since all the more recent games have been developed by non-Nintendo companies.

I think Starfox adventures was done by Rare after they got crappy and I think Namco did assault? Not sure.

In any case, I can't wait for a new SF

What im most worried about is nintendo rehashing the game to fit the casual audience.  Starfox is one of my favorite childhood franchises, I would hate for it to go the same path as Sonic.

 As for the story, yea it would be nice if they went back to the origins of James McCloud and Andross or..........

...if they continued the story from one of the endings from Starfox Command. (Ending 2) 

Where Marcus, Fox and Crystals son gets Slippys son, Peppys granddaughter and track down the legendary pilot Falco to create a new StarFox team. Also Dash, Andross's son i think, rises to power and takes over Venom. It would be a nice refresher with new characters, something the series needs right now.
