This also explains the patch they released making the game easier.

Personally Diablo 3 was a major letdown, but this makes a lot of sense that they planned to release it for consoles all along.

Now the VGC comments said the game is crap while all my PC friends loved it... the PC gamers loved Diablo III... just a minority of fans are upset because the game is diferent from Diablo II.

The comments in vgc didn't say the game was crap, they just said it was a letdown. From DII's grandeur this doesn't mean D3 is crap. My roommate plays it almost daily and he also loves it, but he also mentioned the letdowns.

And read again some VGC's comments... the game is not crap like they seems to show.

Diablo is a great game... it can be worst or not than Diablo II (it is different in fact) but that's don't change the fact the game is one of the best PC games releases in the latest years.

Wow this actually makes some sense. I bought Diablo 3 day one on PC and a few weeks later was done. It's not the same game as the first two and it definitely seemed to be "dumbed down" if you will in some areas and changed for the worse in others.

I don't care which console it comes out on, the game is not very good imho. I would be more excited about being able to stream Diablo from PSone via Gaikai and play it with a buddy.

Well, looking back at Starcraft 64, it couldn't compare to the pc version; so there wasn't a problem there. So the grievance could come from the idea that the console version of D3 will be equal to pc.
