I love when people make a big deal out of game most of them wouldn't have bought, anyway. I love Xenoblade, but I wonder how many copies it would have sold if it had released without all the operation rain fall hype.

The people that hyped the operation rainfall most likely imported the game way before the release in NA.

+1 I bet half the people complaning now wouldnt have even bought the game at launch and just waited for a price drop

I keep seeing this--from fans of other machines, nach--stating it like it's actually true so, out of curiosity, what is the logic this statement is based on? Projection? As in: this is what you'd have done if you were in the same position? Since nobody actually offers up a raionale for this belief and just states it as self-evident, there must be some sort of logic undergirding it, right?

I'm a Nintendo fan boy butI'm just basing this off of how unimportant of a franchise Rayman is over all and how few people I knew that were actually hyped for the game.  I'm not saying that there weren't people weren't excited for it, but it's like Bayonetta..... if the number of complaints of it being a Wii U exclusive actually correlated to the number of people that bought the first game, then it wouldn't have done so poorly that it needed Nintendo to bail it out.

I was one of those people that imported (for Xenoblade, anyway)!  The game had extreme word of mouth on main stream sites just becuase of operation rain fall though, let's not pretend that didn't happen.  Do you think the game would have gotten the same number of sales in North America without that hype and with Nintendo of America's normal marketing?

from experience, ive seen on this very website a few people say they had no interest in buying a certain type of game but wanted on their system out of 'principal'. If i were in the same position, yes i would be pissed, but that wouldnt stop me from getting the game like some people here are saying, which leads me to believe that they didnt really care about it all that much to begin with, not saying everyone is like that but their is a few.

I had the game preordered. I will cancel it next time I go to gamestop (no hurry, I have 7months to cancel it lol)

I bet that demo will be so awsome, it will basicaly be Ubi trying to regain Nintendo fans by reminding us that the game is awsome. But I already made my mind, I WILL buy this game, I will buy it used, that is all.

Edit: Lmao at Reggie's Twiiter reaction!!! Is that comment real? It can't be lol.

This'll be a game I buy used. I will not give Ubifuck my money.

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Agreed lot of the time its just air and no action. However after playing the Raymand Legends demo, I enjoyed the game far more that the 2D mario game. This alone had many people wanting the game as it proved to be well executed.

I will still get it however after it launches as GTAV will take up my time in September. On the positive now I will have three options to choose from.

this is a much better attitude than what I have read in multiple threads already. I can see why someone would be mad at the delay, but not to throw a tantrum

The one player mode in legends sucked though, when your doing the touch screen stuff the computer goes to controlling the character, I don't see why you shouldn't be able to do both at the same time, it didn't feel very satisfactory in my opinion

So many people are buying it used. For that to happen someone has to buy it new. :O
