Just saw The Great & Powerful OZ 3D IMAX Dolby Atmos.

You will never see the actual plot twistses coming.

Anyways, this is the first must see movie of the year.

I love how extreme the 3D is when the aspect ratio is 1:1, the movie was well directed, unlike Spider Man 3 & Indiana Jones 4 & Iron Man 2, so it's a good thing someone else was the director, LOL. (but Iron Man 2 directing isn't that bad, because the script wasn't good enough to make the directing capable of being so bad)

Like Jack the Giant Slayer the 3rd Act felt short to me but not as short, but I'm sure the other 3D movies this year will feel just right; like G.I. joe 3D & The Croods 3D & Iron Man 3 3D & Man of Steel 3D (Christopher Nolan writer/producer) & many others.

anyways the charecters where better then I could hope for, with their personalities.

I don't want to give anything away, but this movie is worth your time.

I wasn't paying to much attention to the Dolby Atmos sound (64 speaker sound), but I still notice its greatness at times. This movie seems to be made in the kind of way of every film makers fantasy with the combination of 3D & IMAX & Dolby Atmos.......basically; the technology is every film makers dream.

Oz did 3D really well. But The Hobbit was horrible. Only reason to see it in 3D was because it was the last showing. They had two 3D effects. During the giant battle, and while the eagles were flying.

Hobbit 2 is not on until December? Damn it!

About the Hobbit:

Did you see the High frame rate version (96 refresh rate)

Or the low frame rate version 24 or 30 refresh rate)

???

I saw the 3D IMAX HFR Version, it look just fine the whole time to me.

Saw it in 3D at the dollar show. It looked fine and all, but the effects were nothing great.

I did see one of the versions you mentioned without 3D a few weeks back. It looked amazing! This time was just ho-hum. It is my third viewing though.

Hope Evil Dead is not in 3D.

Well, I saw the IMAX High-Frame-Rate 3D and used my old student ID for a great discount, I must had payed like $6.25.

It was 48 fps per image.

Anyways, if Evil Dead is not on my list in the OP, then it's not 3D. It is monochromatic 2D only. (I guess they are too unfamiliar to try it correctly, LOL)

And Jurassic Park & Iron Man 3 both have great 3D as shown in the 3D trailers.

I hope the same out of the Croods & G.I. Joe 2, because these are the next 2 3D movies I am going to see, follow Jurassic Park & Iron Man.

Saw the iron man 3 trailer. Looks really good. 3D as well. Did they show Jurrasic Park IV at OZ? I was getting popcorn.

No.

I was talking about Jurassic Park 1 3D, which I saw before Jack the Giant Slayer & Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters.

Im looking forward to "Man of Steel" because Cristopher Nolen (writer/director of Batman trilogy) is the producer, so he has the power of a communist over this movie, LOL. And the director is the same gay guy who directed X-Men 1 & 2, to bad he didn't get to do the 3rd X-Men movie.

I've just seen The Croods:

It has good plot twist, and it sets up a situation for an near impossible Hollywood happy ending, but of course they pull off the Hollywood happy ending, because it's a kids movie.

So if you have kids and you are getting dragged to the movie theaters for them to watch a movie, then this movie in 3D will keep you from boredom.

But I wouldn't suggest this movie for seeing for yourself.

The 3D effect was great and so was the CGI animation........I saw 3D XTREME (3D IMAX at select Rave theaters) version.

I have updated the OP to include "Turbo", seems like a good movie for all ages, but I dont want to jump to conclusions.

The Mario bros. movie 2 Live Action, is real because "Jon Hamm" from "Mad Men" went for the casting of Luigi 1 or so years ago and got turned down, but I don't know who's gonna play Mario & Luigi. And I'm just guessing the Summer 2013 release because this has been in the making for a really long time, and it will definitely be filmed in 3D.

Anyways I'm looking forward to that new "Christopher Nolan" (writer/director of Batman Trilogy) movie "Man of Steel" (he's the producer of this movie.....better then director) and this will be his first movie he has made that is made in 3D. So make sure to see the new Superman movie this June 14.

LOL, I can't help but notice that a lot of Novel based Films are in 3D all of a sudden.

I have updated the OP List to include "World War Z".

I've seen the 3D Trailer for "World War Z" and it looks interesting.

Can't help but notice that "May 3rd to August 9th" is jam pack full of 3D Movies. (week after week)

I think they are going to have to jam "Turbo" in the same week as another 3D Movie.

I have seen G.I. Joe Retaliation 3D IMAX, and it is the best movie of 2013 so far.

So move over OZ, because this movie is clearly better.

If you haven't seen a movie all this year so far, then go see G.I. Joe 2 3D over all other movies release this year so far.

Anyways, g.i. Joe 2 3D during the Beggining will fill you in on what you need to know, if you haven't seen the first G.I. Joe movie (G.I. Joe Rise of Cobra)

This movie was well written and also well directed. It has truly good stories & plots and it will fill like a full movie from start to finish.

I think this is the only Live Action 3D Movie of March 2K13, that actually felt like a full movie.......finally (now that March is over, LOL)

Even Act 3 was a true full act.

Long story short, this will fill your appetite for watching a single movie.
