How about 8 Billion? We have to take into account that the world's popultion is growing quite fast and that babies will even buy the NexBox and PS4. |
Sure, with a 10 year cycle.

People said the same thing about PS3. look what happened. Nothing is locked-in. You're just flaming. |
Sony had 3 territories under lockdown before the PS3. Something had to give... Microsoft only has 1 market on "lock-down" if you will. It's unrealistic to think that MS would lose that 1 market because of trends... Sony lost NA more because they couldn't afford 3 markets at once and not necessarily because of what MS had to offer.

So you didnt say that to anyone that said Sony would win a particular region? weird.

You state your opinion as if it is a fact. That is flaming.

No, Babies will be trained to love Sony and nothing else. Sony worldwide domination. HELL YEAH!!

America isnt on "lock-down". If anything that is the easiest market to influence.
Sony can afford to lead in all 3 markets. They aren't bankrupt. What it will come down to is HOW they launch the PS4. Rumors point to them focusing on launching in America and Japan first. Having a region-by-region controlled launch gives them a much higher chance of gaining marketshare early on in each one.
This would explain why Wii U failed to make an impact in Europe. Nintendo completely ignored it in favor of other regions.

There you go again. Provoking people.
Answering the bold:
No, I never said to anyone that PS4 will win any particular region. Weird. I know.

Wait I did not understand your post... The best strategy for Sony is to ignore the European market? Nintendo did wrong by launching during the same period in all regions?

No, not to ignore Europe but to wiat until you are ready for it. Nintendo obviously has no idea what they're doing with the Wii U in EU.

What i said was.... that you havent taken anyone to task who says that the PS4 has a region on lockdown but you take me to task for saying the xbox will have one region on lockdown. Why is that? You sailed past far more partisan posts than mine and then picked mine to comment on. Here. The Playstation has Japan on lockdown. Feel better? Now calm down and be more balanced. |
Hyper? LOL....what's so "Hyper" about my comment?
I have called out other people who said Sony has Europe. Just not in this thread.
The reason I picked your comment is because you're the one who just states your opinion as fact and leaves no room for argument.
Now maybe you're the one who should calm down before you get banned again.
