What it will come down to is HOW they launch the PS4. Rumors point to them focusing on launching in America and Japan first. Having a region-by-region controlled launch gives them a much higher chance of gaining marketshare early on in each one. This would explain why Wii U failed to make an impact in Europe. Nintendo completely ignored it in favor of other regions. |
Wait I did not understand your post... The best strategy for Sony is to ignore the European market? Nintendo did wrong by launching during the same period in all regions?
