not that DF, i mean the one that smiley had! That poison blob! Remember an apple was transformed into a DF! |
Oh yeah, now I remember. Hm, many people could pick up that DF now. Marines (most likely), centaurs or astray scientists/lab rats of Ceasar (if the petrified body fell of a cliff for example).
My period of "head asplode" fandom for One Piece is gone, although i still follow the show and would put it as the best anime i've yet watched
Just wish Oda'd tone down the Law, just a little.

Pretty sure you won't regret it. Certainly one of the best anime to date^^

The English dub will only cover up through Enies Lobby by the end of this year (i think).
Did Funi announce that they were doing Thriller Bark?

So I have watched the first couple arcs of One Piece and enjoyed the humor and characters in it, but stopped because I was overwhelmed by the number of episodes. Would you recommend a place in the anime or manga for me to start to get into it or should I try again one day to watch the entire thing from beginning to end?

I'd recommend the manga, if you need to get caught up. I remember i turned a fellow study-abroad student onto One Piece while i was in Japan, and he managed to get caught up in a few weeks by crunching the manga (granted, he seemed to be a major insomniac, but still...). Quicker, and you skip the filler (OP filler is usually pretty good, certainly better than Naruto filler, at least)
Maybe start watching at the Marineford War.

Alright. I'll give it a try this way since I know that you are a big fan.
