Blizzard continue to show how they're far ahead of everything regarding videogame CGI.

Blizzard also gets away with completely awesome asskicking CGI ...but absolutely not so spectacular in game graphics.  Maybe that's why they are so profitable. :p

They're not spectacular because they want as many people as possible to be able to play it

Yeah, in the console market, where everyone has the same hardware, pushing the games to the hardware's limit became almost imperative.  But it was that kind of blind pursuit that choked off growth in PC gaming.  Costs thousands just to play a game was and still is ridiculous.

Blizzard showed restraint and let their gaming franchises do the playing, not the polygons.  Hopefully after this incomng nextgen, gaming finds center around fun first and not just stunnin g visuals.

I played Starcraft 2to death... I'm not buying this for a long time.

I quit SC2 because I sensed I was going to get too addicted.  But I still watch some shoutcasts and have been following the many changes during Beta.  As a long time Blizzard fan, I'm obliged to get a copy just to get humiliated...again.  But I do miss the sound of the mechanical keyboard clicking away maniacally and I ony have 8 Probes....

Haha. I'm  in the beta... Which is probably why I'm delaying it.

Haha. I'm  in the beta... Which is probably why I'm delaying it.


I also have a knack for liking the nerfed du jour.  WOW I played hunter before it became OP, in FFXI red mage before it got refresh, SC2 Protoss when Ghosts were pwning......
