Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Is it really the wiiU who performed poorly? Or are we just starting to see the beginning of the end of dedicated gaming consoles?

To all the people saying that I am hating on the wiiU or that I am calling doom for the wiiU, I own a wiiU since day1. I pray that it will be a success but sometimes, I tell myself that I wouldn't mind a gamecube type generation in terms of games.

Gamecube is wayyy too down there. Personally I prefer if we got a N64 gen.

lol we can't have a N64 gen, the graphics were so mind blowing back the wiiu would basicall have to be 10x more powerful then current gen and deliver a zelda and mario that are so graphically/technologically ahead everything else are jaws would it the floor for weeks like the first time was mario 64, golden eye and especially hyrule field in zelda.

Around the Network

This year's E3 will be the greatest factor in determining the long term prospects of Nintendo's home console viability and therefore the WiiU.

If they bring both great casual games and core Nintendo franchises then they have a shot.

This is the Game of Thrones

Where you either win

or you DIE

I meant in terms of evolving gameplay. I tire of the "formula"
