This +1

Besides the man made DMC and Bayonetta...he can tell people to eat shit all they want.

I actually read it as him comparing reading Kotaku to eating shit (which is a pretty apt comparison).

"Did you read the article?"

"Do you eat shit?"

so one calls the other a douche bag and the other responds with do you eat shit? very professional

"Do you eat shit?" was the perfect response. Kamiya is a complete hero.

This. Kotaku is full of giant assholes and they deserve no better than childish responses to their childish work.

"We'll toss the dice however they fall,
And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Also, the top article should read, Kotaku bashes famed developer, developer bashes Kotaku back.

I hate gaming journalism.

Despite the things that Kamiya said the point here is that the media seems to be filled with juvenile journalists these days. The ammount of retarded and biased or hateful articles has been seeing the light of day at an alarming rate.
Review scores are now more questionable than ever and its generally been getting out of control. Kotaku is a prime example of a website that often crosses the line to get hits. Its also the reason why i stoped visiting it.

I dont have any simpathy for Kotaku here and Kamiya has a right not to have his reputation soiled by a group of strangers without any legitimacy.

Hit grabbing title. It's not that he's clueless, he's just not interested in Steam or the PC market.

I just went on the actual page from Kotaku and it seems they have indeed changed the title to "The Guy Who Made Bayonetta Is Not Interested In Valve and PC Gaming. That’s Common In Japan."

Kotaku articles are pure shit, but Kamiya overreacted.

About the article itself, I really can't see many Japanese games selling well on the PC.

Monster Hunter,Animal Crossing and Anime based games released for Nintendo or Sony platforms, tend to only do well in Japan.

He should have asked them if they can use their brains.

It's Kotaku. The question answers itself.
