Definitely fallout. I find that the fallout series has better quests and a more interesting world.

Elder Scrolls Though I really liked fallout 3, New vagas just put me off! it was just a horrible bug fest and felt like a huge step back from fallout 3.

I remember I was jumping up on some rocks in New Vegas and I got stuck in a jumping motion so I couldn't fast Travel anywhere then the game decided to autosave -___-

:O that would suck so bad!!

Fallout easily.
New Vegas>Fallout 2>Morrowind>Fallout1>Fallout 3>Skyrim>Oblivion>Daggerfall>Arena
Better characters, story, world and game play.

Where does Fallout 3 fall in? (Serious question because I am considering making it my first installament in the series).

Oh whoops didnt add fallout 3, Fixed

Atto Suggests...:

Book - Malazan Book of the Fallen series

Game - Metro Last Light

TV - Deadwood

Music - Forest Swords

For this generation Fallout, for all time Elder scrolls. I have played and enjoyed Fallout 3/NV and Elder scrolls 3,4,5
My rankings on what I played: Morrowind>Fallout 3>Oblivion>New vegas>Skyrim

Fallout 3 and Skyrim are very close, it's almost too hard to decide, but I pick Fallout in the end.

It's fairly intermixed for me. But, fallout by a bit.

Because, New Vegas is deeper mechanically than recent elder scrolls, with lots of scenarios. Obsidian/Black Isle's writing has always been better than bethesda imo.

Fallout due to the great music.

Easy Livin' - Billy Holiday
Love me as though there were no tomorrow - Nat King Cole
Johnny Guitar - Peggy Lee
Crazy He Calls Me - Billie Holiday
Way Back Home - Bob Crosby

You are the answer to every prayer I've offered.

You are a song, a dream, a whisper, and I don't know how I could have lived without you for as long as I have.

I prefer Fallout over Elder Scrolls. Oblivion was one of the worst rpgs I have ever played.

Ahh somebody with very good taste. Your a rare one.

As far as writing, Obsidian is head and shoulders above Bethesda and Bioware and many others.

Seen these on gaf lol:

But most people dont really care about good writing *sigh*

IMO, Follout 3 (being the only one I played) was a terrible game, because after I managed to level up one class of weapons, hand guns I think, I got bored because the game was too easy, so I killed almost everyone in Megaton, and still the game was to dam easy. I just head-shoted everyone to Oblivion . The game IMO was one head shot after anther, no challenging enemies, and you peaked to easily. Oh and everything looked the same especially inside buildings. Fallout 3 was very overrated IMO.

Skyrim (being the only one I played) on the hand, I found very entertaining is right now one of my favorite. games of all time, because of to many reasons to mention - Fus Ro Dah!
