The COD games on Wii never really had big starts but had legs to carry them to a million by years end (with the exception of MW3). I still haven't picked it up but will at some point. I'm playing too many games right and not a die hard COD fan.

Both bolded and italicized are incorrect statements. Read comments from people who actually bought the game. They say that the sp is ridiculously short, but the mp works well and makes the game worth the purchase. The only thing they seem to regret is paying full price. Most COD players only care about mp, but reviewers can't ignore how bad sp is. A lot of games with terrible or average reviews end up being considered from good to amazing by the players who bought them. Of course there are some (maybe majority, maybe minority) who will think it was garbage and sell the game and maybe their psvita too.

At any rate, both your statements are exaggerations.

Wouldn't you be proud to have a 30 metascore game at the helm of the console you love? Yeah, I wouldn't either. But I'm not thinking like a Sony guy, so what do I know.

The message the Vita sends right now is that quality games don't sell but turds with big names on them are very welcome. Enjoy the ride.

You're right, Wii U owners have much better taste than Vita owners.

it won't be as bad as rayman origins sales(250k vita/10k 3ds)but very close.
the 3ds has sold around 20mio and the vita around 5 mio units,and the quality of rayman origins is great.better graphics than mario ,a great gameplay-just like mario,but fresh and not so used,old and always the same mario,but the 3ds version was outsold by 1:25 by the vita version and by more than 1:500 by super mario

nintendo gamers are buying only nintendo games .maybe they either are ignorant or unaware,but thats how they are (a catastrophy for all 3rd party companies)and the situation won't change as almost all great 3rd party games this year won't be released on wii u(no gta5,no mgs,no dark souls2 etc etc)=core gaming wii u userbase won't increase significantly because no reason for core gamers to buy a wii u and the next Cod may double or triple its wii u version sales compared to this cod,but not more.

Rayman Origins didn't hit the 3DS in the US until November and for some reason VGC isn't tracking the sales for it.  AS far as VGC is concerned, it never even launched in the US.

I think you are crazy.
The multiplatform ports on WiiU have mostly sold poorly so far, that's correct. But I believe most of the current userbase already own a PS3 or X360, and why would anyone buy a new console to play games they could already play? It's no coincidence that NSMBU, NintendoLand and ZombieU are the current bestsellers. These games offer something that you can't get elsewhere, and those are the games people buy when a new console is released.

If the next CoD launches at the same time as the others, and if Wii U has 150% of the Vita userbase by then, I'm convinced it won't happen.

I actually don't know, but looking at current sales of both versions and Vita probably would only just beat the Wii U although not too much in it at all
