But, still congrats 3DS! With Pokemon X and Y, you'll reach 20 million in no time!

For a comparison, the original DS used 88 weeks to reach 10 million, and the PsP used 191 weeks. The Wii used 170.

The 3DS is almost guaranteed to end as the third best selling video game machine in Japan. It has little chance of besting the original DS (33 million) or the GB (32.5 million) and it's nearly guaranteed to surpass the Ps2 (23 million).

Add another 10m onto that next year, pokemon is going to rip japan to shreds.

The 3DS sold more in December 2012 alone than Vita sold its entire lifetime in Japan.

Yay, Japan really has adopted this thing. Now it needs to sell more in the West.

it feels like just a couple of days ago it was at 7m! with MH, DQ as well as Pokemon in the same year this will be one hell of a monster this year!

I predict it will sell more than DS because it has MH4 and will get more MH games further down!
