I'd say this. It's up to Sony to save the Vita now. If they ignore it or just barely mention it at E3, you can stick a fork in it, it's done.

Can't see Gran Turismo doing much for the Vita.

2009 was when the GT for PSP released and it managed to sell a whopping 2.9m units on ~56 million PSP consoles at the time. Not an overly impressive attach rate for a GT game. Seems to me (and I don't blame them) that GT gamers want big screens with impressive graphics, not tiny screens.
