Pokemon kills skyrim in every aspect.

Skyrim best RPG this gen? Its not even better than Oblivion...

I own Game of the Year Editions of Oblivion, Morrowind, and Skyrim. skyrim is leagues better than both Oblivion and Morrowind. Better in pretty much every way.
Skyrim is the best Elder Scrolls game to date.

Don't be silly. Other than graphics, Morrowind crushes Skyrim. Hand crafted, hand places items and dungeons and enemies in a World very alien and unique to what we usually see >>>>>>>>>>> Dragons. Pretty Graphics.
Edit: And as far as Oblivion vs Skyrim goes, Skyrim went backwards in areas like quests.

you DO know there's more to game design than graphics and art direction, right?
Skyrim's score was epic, leages better.
Sound Effects were better as well
Voice Acting was leagues better than morrowind or oblivion
Art direction wise, I'd say Skyrim and Morrowind are neck and neck (Morrowind for the alien feeling landscape, skyrim for everything else)
Technically speaking, skyrim was obviously the best looking
The interface and heads up display were refined, the menus more clear on skyrim
Both the main plot and the side-faction plotlines were much better written
Skyrim had better character builds and more variety
The world building excercises were arguably better in Morrowind, but that's not to say skyrim wasn't great and didn't have tonnes of depth)
Controls in Skyrim were far better and more refined
The difficulty curve was smoother and less annoying in Skyrim than it was in Morrowind or Oblivion
Morrowind definitely wins when it comes to innovation and new ideas, but skyrim is a mix of those ideas refined
They're all equally great when it comes to replay value, given the different builds and play styles the game accommodates
Skyrim, with it's simplified and refined features and better controls, was much more flat out fun.
Skyrim had more variety in its gameplay styles as well as mission types (though they're all pretty close)
I can't say for sure, but I think Morrowind has a slight edge in pure content volume, but they're all pretty close
Morrowind also gets a slight edge in level design, but that's not to say Skyrim isn't close behind.
So tell me again, of those 18 categories, skyrim wins by a landslide in almost half of them, barely losing the few it does lose. Don't get me wrong, they're all great games, but objectively Skyrim wins in most categories, and the few ways it WAS inferior to Morrowind and Oblivion (mostly just morrowind) aren't really big deals. yeah, some of the RPG elements were simplified or taken out (athletics, etc), but in exchange you got better controls, more refinement, a better planned interface, etc. It was a better game, even if nostalgia won't let you forget the hundreds of hours you enjoyed on the previous games.
