Oromashu said: Yes it does, seeing as it was released on the DS/PSP. That game would not be considered the best rpg of that generation seeing as how it's age didn't hold over well. Persona 4 Golden was released on the Vita, which is a current generation console, and it is also one of the best reviewed games on the system and for JRPGs in general. |
That's in your opinion. FF6 has aged just fine for me and I'd rather play that than almost any other rpg.
Chrono Trigger was released on the DS when it was a current generation system. It was also highly reviewed and is considered one of the best jrpgs in general, that doesn't change the fact that it was the same game as the SNES one with some extra stuff added in.
P4 Golden doesn't even look all that different from P4. Basically a PS2 game ported to the Vita with a few enhancements. That still doesn't make it a current generation game.

Metal Gear Solid 2/3 were ported to the PS3/360/Vita and MGS3 to the 3DS. Does that make them current generation games?

Me since the games were revealed, the fanboys since E3."
