ohh i totally missed it, i got my new gamepro (germany) two days ago and they gave ni no kuni a disappointing

graphics 10/10

wonderful graphics

cutscenes have the quality of ghibli movies

smooth animations

countless details

characterdesign

sound 10/10

+ terrific and versatille soundtrack

+ authentic speaker

- story relevant cutscenes only partially with voiceacting

pro:

overworld
main quest ~50 hours
many side missions and activities
deeply moving story line
companions
plenty boss fights

contra:

dynamic day and night only on see and in the air
new equipment not visible on the characters

conclusion:

the most beautiful jrpg of all time and the best jrpg of this generation

woahhh!

two of five editiors said it's no game for them because they hate jrpgs and one said he doesn't like them but still plays it. so, that is obviously a review of a guy who likes those games and it doesn't mean every magazine/site will give those scores since we often see guys reviewing a genre they don't like (sad but true)
