Nextbox $499 at launch? doesn't sound to bad. let the war begin again. Kinect2 could be better then sliced bread.

It will be the same garbage as Kinect 1
It won't work like the things they are going to promise - Kinect 1 should have been able to do FLUENT and perfect stuff where you can play games on the quality level of Uncharted,Halo 4, and other things.
Yeah...Kinect Fable...awesome...really...totally what they promised.
Lets believe in them for Kinect 2.0 - We will probably have Virtual Reality or so where we can control the game with our mind.People probably will believe it if Microsoft is promising it.

Leap is thousand times better.

People rather should hope the whole NextBox Gen won't be about Casual Kinect Stuff and CoD/Halo/Gears Trilogies/Sequels/Prequels.
They surely won't put the same effort in like they did at the beginning of the 360.Not a lot 3rd Party Exclusives and new IPs like Kameo and stuff. This won't happen again.

Who cares for DVD?Its about BluRay(finally also on the Microsoft side too) - The thing that is 10 000 times superior to the DVD.

It will eat the Wii U for breakfast. I will bet my profile on VGChartz on that one.

I find it funny how 1.25 CPU is slow and 1.6 is fast. Only in the internet... its those 350Mhz that make the difference!

It might be easier for people to say Nintendo is slow and Microsoft is fast! Its about as obvious that theres no logic to it.

3 cores @1.25 is (not a little bit, a lot) slower than 8 or 16 cores @ 1.6
here in the internet and everywhere.

i don't get what is so difficult to understand...

Different cores can process different amounts, it doesn't matter how many of them you have so much as it matters the total amount it all produces.

Not necessarly. Depends on the CPU tech. And other rumors pointed out that half of the cores will be used for kinect. So it seems true that all next gen consoles will have similar power.

If that is true then a basic $600-$700 PC will wipe the floor with all the consoles, which is really just someones laptop and console budget combined.

My 3 year old PC hammers the crap out of the Wii U in everyway and it's using yester-years tech e.g. DDR2 RAM and a phenom II. The consoles are going to have to watch out for the steam box if they really think seriously low-clock speeds are going to give them next-gen capabilities.
