Wait, is this game online? If so i really hope it's under the tree for me. I asked for it for Christmas cause I couldn't bear the thought of paying 60 dollars for it. But if it has online co op I might take that statement back. So is it true? Online co op?

nope. No Online co op. Sometimes you can see other peoples infected survivors lurking around, if u manage to kill them u can loot their stuff. People can leave messages via spray painting (similar to darksouls), unfortunately in my playthroughs i did not see many messages left behind. There are online leaderbards, but i can't think of anything else that was online. Have not checked out multiplayer, but i do believe it is just local only.

Well that sucks... But 60 maybe worth it for my chance to kill super chunk. Do they need to be on your friends list for their zombi to show in your game?

It helps. My little brother has noone on his friend list and he still get some people but it random out of the pool of all players.

Not sure. None of my friends have the game. I usually get random people. Hopefully someone else can answer your question.

The game is fantastic. It's not particularly hard, its all about planning and using the right strategy dealing with zombies. The game rewards you for being cautious and smart, it is incredibly satisfying. I finished Survival mode just today, took me 5 attempts, clocked in at around 8 hours. I highly recommend it if u have patients for games.

Bet with ninjablade:

Ninjablade wins if the next 5 multiplat on the wii u are inferior to the 360 version.

I win if one of the 5 mulitplats are on par or superior on the Wii U.

lol! I've put down quite a few of you all myself. What supplies did i leave for you? dieappledie had some good loot once.

Always have to get back to your old self though otherwise you lose that loot . :( sad days then as you scramble to get it back.

No online co-op I'm very glad to say. Co-op of any sort does not belong in the survival horror genre.

I disagree, if it's done right it could be fantastic. Just you and a friend. imagine your friend getting bit and you have to kill him or hell kill you once he turns. Maybe you'll need to progress so far before you can get him back and even then he could act as new character so it's like you'll never get that old friend back. What if you can sacrifice him to make sure the mission gets complete. Think the walking dead when he shot that guy in the leg so he could get away from the pack of zombies to save the other guys son. There's many ideas to explore.

P.S. I didn't get the game... So now i'll have to buy it.

No mate, that would turn it into yet another action horror abomination. The selling point of proper survival horror games is the fact that you're facing seemingly insurmountable odds, alone and with scarce resources with plenty of scares along the way.

And your telling me it's absolute impossible to do that co op?

Yes, because you won't get the same sense of isolation that the genre thrives upon. You won't get the same tense atmosphere, particularly if there's voice chat.
