They won't announce a price cut because they just have announced new bundles in Europe.
They won't do it in NA because they will announce a white PS3.
They have just released a new PS3 bundle in Japan.

My words : It's FAKE!

But I think the 360 will have a price cut now and at the end of the year.

April =>
Arcade : 250 $
Premium : 300 $ without a game
Elite : 400$ without a game

October =>
Arcade : 220 $
Premium : 279 $ bundled (Mass effect & ...)
Elite : 360 $ bundled (Mass effect & ...)

A $79.99 wii would make me buy it, its cheaper than guitar hero 3.

i think microsoft will drop it price to $250 when gta4 launches and sony will drop it to $300

Doubt it will happen.

But if it does with their line up it will be a all out attack to severely weaken the 360 in NA and pretty much kill it in the rest of the world.

I imagine that gta 4 is the big game for both consoles for the year (in terms of sales), cut the price of the ps3 and the Xbox 360 will be logical to increase sales of hardware

DUH!

Unlike the 2007 PS3 cuts/remodels, these cuts were widely expected, and even the timing (espcially for the 360). In fact, so many people seemed to predict this that I am hesitant to believe their true - the odds of them originating from someone's internet speculation that got due than it deserves is just too high right now.

well Sony dropped the manufacturing costs of the PS3 by half so I guess they could technically afford to drop the cost.

Sony said it themselves they are going to try targetting wii and gain sales.
