No disrespect to those writing those rumors, or to Soriku for drawing attention to them, but ....
DUH!
Unlike the 2007 PS3 cuts/remodels, these cuts were widely expected, and even the timing (espcially for the 360). In fact, so many people seemed to predict this that I am hesitant to believe their true - the odds of them originating from someone's internet speculation that got due than it deserves is just too high right now.
