So, 360 owners are looking to update sooner?

This bodes well for Sony. PS3 fans are satisfied with their system and future games coming so they aren't looking for a successor yet.

neither. i'm not being defensive. just make an observation. stay off the offense and just focus on having a conversation about the data. is that so hard?

When you make excuses it looks defensive.  As many others has stated this doesn't prove anything because of there is more rumors for the 720 right now.  When both officiolly get announced then this will be a little more interesting to watch.  

I have no problem with you but I dont want a bunch of people coming in here making excuses either like I can search 7 times on 720 and 2 on PS4 or they all have multiple names durango, orbis, (Most people will call them 720 and PS4) etc.  Once one person does it then others will jump on and do the same.  So I'm just trying to keep this thread on track before having excuses and then eventually an argument.


i'm glad you don't have a problem with me. i'm usually happy to see you make threads, as they always turnout interesting.

as a mater of fact, i'm shocked your not on my friends list! i didn't make any excuses, just points of observation.

i'm sure you don't think whatever percentage of people searched xbox720, or PS4 did it once or twice right? which means as you've said, we can take this with a grain of salt.

if i were to make an excuse. it wouldn't be in favor of either console. i've always considered you one of vgc'z best, although i may not agree with you all the time.


I was probably reading you wrong or something so I'll apologize.  it's just how I saw it.  

And yes most likely multiple searches went into both of them.  I'll take this trend more serious when both gets announced but even then i think predicting the future for these will be hard because they change yearly unlike other pieces of tech on the market.  

And thanks.  Probably a lot of people disagree with me, I tend to be controversial on how I approach things at times :P

Had for instance the Wii been able to cater to the entire market then it would have likely snowballed to >70% market share. If you don't have the same console as your friends you can't play with them, so in effect your enjoyment of multiplayer is predicted partially on the decisions of other people and the availability of content likewise.
