That never occured to me, to be honest. I took the question at face value.
What a certain type of console-centric people are always going to struggle with, I think, is understanding that not everyone else is like them. Most people are into gaming for the games, not because they want to be in some 'A Game of Thrones' scenario with pieces of electronics. Not everyone thinks of every thread or comment in terms of championing their favorite console or attacking everything else. It's really not normal.
I think its pretty obvious that the PS2 has a better library of software, but one is a console and the other is a portable. Portable games are not designed as long cinematic experience as rule of thumb. Those are obviously better entertainment for the living room.

What a worthless post. At least try to add something to the thread rather than attacking the OP.
OT: I would have to go with the PS2 since I never really got into the DS. But because of that same reason I wont vote for either because I can't see both sides of the argument that well.
Come on comparing a home console to a portable device is unfair. It woud be more interesting to see a PSP vs DS or PS2 vs SNES comparison
I'm sorry but Pokemon + 2D Mario + Mario Kart + Chrono Trigger + Dragon Quest and Squeenix RPG galore in combo is not a fair opponent to any system except the PC.

Chrono Trigger is on PS2 due to BC. Squeenix RPG galore as well with new ones plus the PSone ones.
