In that list there are 6 Apps that state they will be available in the UK and another 3 that will be released in "the majority of Xbox Live regions" so we can also assume that they too will be available in the UK.

Karaoke one is pretty good :).

you can play it with your head set and they make 5 songs free every day.

Sadly you can't really buy songs but for a small fee you can rent all 8000-9000 songs for a couple hours to 24 hours.. Pretty good for a saturday evening :).

Nice. Paying for live brings a new meaning to a games machine. Live is growing so big in the app field. Next gen Xbox brand will be running pretty much everything for their TV possible. For those that would use it I believe I'll be able to watc my current provider Sky through my xbox in its entirity. As well as link my HTC 8x WP8 to it via smartglass and other ways. Also my Surface RT as well as Purchase 1080p HD films of every type. Onto a nice 2 TB HDD. Via Xbox music 1 payment /year will give me unlimited access on 3 devices ( Xbox, WP8 and Win8) whenever and wherever I am. Internet Explorer also in full and Microsft have done what they set. Be the only thing I need under the TV. No other boxes.
