Here in Setubal Portugal - Jumbo supermarket as plenty ( more then 15 deluxe )

Retailers around here seem to have plenty in stores but this is mainly because most people around here buy things online, its cheaper and you can more readily make reservations.

It seems that the deluxe package is sold out while premium packs are high in supply. Most people definitely going for the deluxe version it seems, and won't settle for the premium

I was at the store a week ago and saw the Basic WiiU while the deluxe set was no were to be found. I did also see a black pro controller available for the first time. But who knows, they store may have just got them and sold out by the end of the day (wishful thinking)

My WiiU is pretty short. Its only about a foot long, at best. I am so ashamed. I wish there was a way to make it longer. Well, at least I'm already married.

In Finland, there are a lot of Wuus in every store that sells them.

On launce day, Saturn in Heerhugowaard (a small Dutch town of only 52.000 citizens) had 4 white basic Wiiu's.
The Black Wiiu's where sold out they said.
I bought a white Wiiu, because I didn't want the black one anyway. (I really really hate fingerprints on my controller)
The next day I was in the same shop to buy a hard disk for my Wiiu.
This time the white Wiiu's where sold out, but now they had 6 black premium Wiiu's.

the prices are going up everywhere in Sweden! some stores won't get any new supply until next year!

Can retailers increase prices when demand is high in Sweden? Or are those second-hand sellers?

well that's what they are doing :)

I bought mine from Elgiganten which had it for 3444kr now they have it at 3990kr Media Markt had it for 3490kr and then it went up to 3790kr CDON had it for 3990 then went down to 3400 something and then went up to 3990 before it's release :P
