Interesting. If they make this, which would be a great solution to the primary controller debacle that helped the Wii lose 3rd party support, I hope they can have it be comfortable to use. This design looks like they would eliminate the shoulder buttons and use triggers instead, but that image is no were near a final design so who knows. With this and the Vita as dedicated controllers next gen is looking so weird.

The intention is good but the execution shown here is lacking.
-Theres a reason why no one has done this in the past and its because the form factor of a traditional controllers does notlend itsef to motion gameplay, even if you do split it in half. What you left with is uneven balance and analogues stick which are too off for each hand to hold seperately.
-Also the addition of the glow balls confuses me, that is retarded technology and definitely does not help the form-factor when using it as a standard control. Sony must be unwilling to update the PSeye or this is fairly old/ a quick mock up.

This looks even more hideous that the Move, and uncomfortable to boot. For dual-sticks I don't see what's wrong with going with the Razer Hydra's setup--of course that wouldn't be able to double as a standard Dual Shock controller, but I don't think that'd be possible without some serious compromises anyway.
