Terribly glitch filled game on any platform, not worth purchasing.

To think I used to love AC.

You obviously never had the immortal horses to help you in the game, that is why :(

Lol :D No, I haven't. Selling the game off tomorrow anyways, finished it, never want to see it again, back to AC: Brotherhood for me.

Wii U vs. Xbox 360 graphic comparison is like farting in a forest with no one around to appreciate the level of your stink.

Please just enjoy the game and don't worry about which direction the wind in blowing.

I think not buying the game on any system would do the game justice.

Agreed. This franchise needs to die.

This.

How hard is it to keep the bloody contrast and gamma consistent across all systems? That pisses me off so much. Xbox 360 and PS3 versions have crushed blacks, Wii U version is slightly washed out. Overall, I prefer the look of the Wii U version though.

Especially in this shot:

This is a tough one. I think the WiiU has slightly better shadows (yes) and lighting, but the 360 has slightly sharper textures. But who am I? I also find Black Ops WiiU notably the better version, despite some fancy shmancy tech-sites disagreeing with me.

So, it's basically the same, but WiiU wins due to the lighting.

I don't get these discussions anyway. Why would you expect these ports to magically be way better than their HDtwins counterparts? These games are all built on 360 with a certain set of assets and it's not like devs were going to rebuild all these games for the WiiU. People are going to be massively disappointed when they come to the realization that PS360 games ported to PS720 don't somehow look all kinds of leaps above what's been built.

Oh, how I wished Nintendo made a realistic looking game for the WiiU's launch.

I'm going to go with the 360 version, but only by a hair.

You could get the Wii U look with the PS3/360 versions though (if you set RGB range to limited).

It already is.

I'd have to re-calibrate, and it probably wouldn't end up with the same result.

Pretty equal looking though is there a performance test already ?

I wish you could see how AC3 looks on a decent PC. Even though it's a port, it looks way better. There are things they could've improved with little developmental effort, like the anti-aliasing, poor shadows in places and upgraded the textures.

Yes, I've seen the screenshots . Nothing can beat the PC anyway when it comes to graphics. I'm not even taking PC versions into consideration anymore because it would win anytime anyway.

Devs seem to give PC versions a little extra for some reason, likely because it's easier to just include better textures. When porting to other consoles it looks like they basically just use the version of a game of the console they made it on primarily and make it run on the other.

I think Nintendo brought this bickering over power upon themselves when they decided to not make a launch game with some style of realism. It would have put a lot of discussions about the power of the system to rest, unless the system was less powerful than PS360 of course. Now all we're left with is these port, which are obviously aren't meant to, and aren't going to, show anything. We have ZombiU, but that's a low-budget, low risk experimental game. It's playing it safe. A Metroid, Star Fox, F-Zero or Zelda (though the last one would have been unlikely at any rate given it's development time) would have been perfect to show the system's potential capabilities at launch.

Now, there's nothing really. All we can do is look back at the demoes of last years E3, which are outdated.
