for the weak performance of third party titles, I really don't know who we shall blame, Nintendo, third party publishers or the consumers?

Kingdom Hearts is at 0.95, Street Fighter at 0.86 I think, and Resident Evil Revelations at 0.63 (should be higher, but decent).

I think they're all to blame. Third parties for making huge amounts of shovelware (but hey, it's a free world), Nintendo for allowing it (but what could they do?) and the consumers for not informing themselves which third party titles are actually good (no excuse).

There's a large casual market on the 3DS, and people really trust the Nintendo brand above everything else. With Mario, you don't get burned.

With the second current gen platform being stillborn, and the third being out since like yesterday, it's not that impressive.

No. I am just counting Vita twice since it's having its second first Christmas in Japan.
