I agree and yet disagree.
Vita is billed as console gaming on the go. It's supposed to be a portable PS3-lite. In that respect, critics have every right to rip it to shreds because even if it was on 3DS this would be a disappointment (although, more expected and tolerated).
If they can make faithful CoD ports to Wii, they could have made one for Vita.

3DS is billed as a 3D DS. Should reviewers lower their reviews if the 3D aspect is horrible?
Anyway this thread is pure flamebait. I'm surprised its not closed yet.
I'd like to add the fact that Metacritic scores don't matter. I got Playstation All-Stars and for a game with only a 76, the game is very good.
I think reviewers were finally looking to bash a Call of Duty game, and this is their first chance to truly do it without receiving much backlash.

the thread isn't that serious and isn't intended as flame bait. I partially just wanted to see how many informed gamers actually picked up the or whether it was a bunch of people who just saw the advert and thought "cool!...*purchases game*"
In regard to the reviews It doesn't matter what it is billed as, the fact is the reviewers saw the game as bad by modern standards especially for a capable platform. And people should remeber that price comes into consideration when reviewing a title, In the UK its priced at £44.99, which is bloody expensive. playstation all stars is only £29.99 on Vita. I haven't played the game so I won't judge it but I just refered to metacritic as it generally gives good idea of the general consensus on a title. I doubt there are many titles you've bought and loved that have a metacritic below 50 and equally I bet 99% pecent of the games you love have a metacritic of 70 or above.
