Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Mass Effect 3 on 360 > Wii U. Eurogamer Face-Off

I think it is a pretty fair comment. I think people would have been happy with something which was clearly even a little better than the current consoles, it'd be a bit more justification for purchase anyway if you already own a 360 or PS3 and most people seem to.

I think it is clearly more capable. But we have yet to see it, even with its current exclusives.
The real question is how much more capable it is.

Expected and I can't see way better games in future for Wii U or even 1080p.

ME3 on PS360 had the full might of Bioware behind it. The WiiU version had some intern team workng on it. The fact that it still turned out better than the PS3 version says something, but it not being as good as the 360 version. which is the main, we'll blame it on lazy developers on both counts.

Games are fun.

We've been so used to the new gen overpowering the previous one, especially in terms of graphics. Until Sony and Microsoft make their move all I can say is it's different this time around, but then again, Nintendo hasn't been keen on powerful graphics since Wii.

I believe a console does improve over time, as developers learn to explore its potential. However, the improvement is only marginal, meaning the first wave of games struggling to top past generation consoles already says a lot about a console's power.

A PS2 game might have a team of absolute wizards behind it but it still won't look like a PS3 game. That's the problem with Wii U, even if its potential is fully tapped, it's very likely it still won't be enough.

It may be better at some things but other things it isn't.

Tease.

Lets face it, Bioware was always known for its storytelling, not for it's technical achievements.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

We won't see that until EAD Tokyo, Monolith, Retro Studios reveals what they're up to.

We're going to see some mindblowing games given what they were able to achieve on the Wii.  Although it would've been nice to see a graphical showcase at Wii U launch.

The Wii U version would probably be the best of the three if it came with all DLC already on disk and EA wasn't charging full price for it when you can get the trilogy on other consoles for the same price.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
