I think people misunderstood his main complaint with the game in the Gamespot review and somehow construed it into him wanting an action game. If you're going to have sparse ammunition since it's a horror game, do not make the only alternative extremely repetitive and take up the majority of the gameplay time. Silent Hill Downpour got lambasted for its abysmal melee combat among other issues, but no one cared.

lol imagine this when the next Zelda gets a bad score from gamespot!

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

yeah and i have no clue why reviewers seem to complain about everything right now. too many changes...too few changes...too less survival horror...too much survival horror...too easy..too hard...seriously, they complain about changes in games nowadays and they complain if there are no big game changing changes are they for real? a wonder borderlands 2 got suh a high score because hey, it uses the same kind of graphic style as the predecessor^^

they should have added more than a cricket bat to defend yourself with! it would have been more fun if you could grab stuff in the environment and through it at them or stick it in throats/heads/bodies. grabbing a chair and slamming them with it or a sword to chop body parts of!

Whilst some complaints (graphics, no online, melee variety) have some grounds, it's a very apt message the devs are sending out there.

And why not?

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

These silly reviewers want a game like Resident Evil 6 where you can go all WWE on zombies and start slapping them in the chest like Rick Flair or giving them the People's elbow, because that's what you do in a real survival horror game.

I love My Wii U, and the potential it brings to gaming.

I saw that in the wara wara plaza. I "yea'ed" it immediately

i'm getting the feeling that this game is being hated by the quik time events-scripted secuences-beautiful cutscenes lovers that are only good at COD . I admit I was dissapointed by the ign review but now i think i'll get it anyways because it does sound like a good game the problem is that some people can't stand a challenge
