How will Sony do it next gen is the question, on a new console is kind of hard to give away so many games per month.

...before anyone mentions Vita, it will be getting PSP games sometimes as part of plus, and is unlikely PS4 will be backwards compatible with PS3.

Gaikai. If you are a member of Plus you probably have fast enough internet to stream PS3 games. Or they could be strange and postpone the IGC until a year after launch when they don't need PS3 titles.

Inferiority complex is being shown by 360 fans, nothing new. Ignore their repeatative arguments of what is better blah blah.

I think it might be the best and most original innovation of this generation. We'll have to see how it takes hold next generation.

Innovation? GameTap and other all-you-can-eat for a flat rate game services of the past decade say:

"Hello there! We beat PS+ to the market by a huge margin, had a lot more games, and nobody said we were original or innovative! *sob*."

Don't get me (too) wrong, I am contemplating getting it for Vita, but it is not original *or* innovative if those words have any actual meaning anymore.

The inovative part is that you get to keep the games. After Infamous is taken off PS+ I get to keep playing it as if I owned the game. Granted it relies on me staying a member but since I plan to renew for the forseable future PS+ is nothing like renting. Instead Sony gives me two free games every month to play whenever, that is the service.

MEGA FAIL.

So you don't get to keep the game, and it's exactly like any online rental service where you keep the game as long as you are a member.

One could easily say the opposite, it's the inferiority complex of PS3 fans flaunting the one thing they have that Xbox 360 fans don't, for example. Besides I own all next gen consoles and still don't see the amazing best thing this gen part of PS+

You make a thread with that title, you should expect the consequences and be able to prove your point.

Point has not been proven, other than it's a nice service some people like. If a thread can have such a revelatory title, then you should be able to make some revelatory points.

Which NOBODY has. Try and keep it civil eh.

PSN Plus is a cool idea, but I wouldn't say its the best.

This isn't really related but I seen some posts talking about it so I decided to throw in my words.
If you think PSN will be free next gen, then you're crazy. Sony has noticed how successful Microsoft has been even with pay-to-play service. And with the current position Sony is in, it wouldn't make sense for them to pass up the Xbox Live "business model"

Hahaha you're crazy. I bet you a thousand years of sig control that next generation basic online pay will be free on Sony's system.

No you're crazy, look at how much money MS makes off Xbox Live subscriptions and basically only gives you online play for your money. People are happy to pay for online and Sony not charging will obviously be considered as a miss-step at head office. Sony need money and when the PS4 launches that's the one thing you can be sure of. Free online play is over for Sony at the earliest time they can adopt that stance which is the release of the PS4.

Would be a fast way for both sides to loose more customers and slowly migrate to Nintendo as multi plats become more common with next gen even on the Wii U so I wouldn't call that a smart move. A lot of people seem to forget that Nintendo is going to be in this equation as well. Not to mention more people are migrating to PC gaming these days as well, things will shift drastically again in the 8th gen, Sony would be retarded to charge for online since it'd send them to the grave even faster vs Nintendo in Japan.

It isn't predictable and I have a PC, Wii, PS3, Xbox 360 and iPad to split my time. Also I have a limited download like 90% of the world which isn't U.S.A. and it doesn't give me enough to download many 15+GB PS3 titles.

Lot of countries offer unlimited packages.  Rarely is a game that size though, I think 2 games on PS+ I've seen been that size, R+C All 4 One and Infamous 2.  Most games are around 3-8GB, the PSN games sometimes a couple hundred MB.

Well I only have 50GB per month so it makes the value proposition different when considering the worth of the various packages.

Tease.
