So its probably not release confirmation. I hate to be one of those people but.....3DS port incoming?

They know some stuff, but I really don't think they would know a japan "megaton" news before anyone else

Hopefully its for PSN and taps both markets... or a port for 3DS seems to be the best solution sales wise.

I talk  about software  from 2008-2012 game sold poorly in PSP for exemple Tekken Dark resurection does 2 million and half compared to 270k for tekken 6 in PSP and  God Of War COO sold   3 millions and God Of War GOS didn't even break 1 millions



PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Maybe they've found some info regarding a localization though. Though 2 weeks ago SE said they were taking a "clean slate" with this game due to market reasons so you have to wonder what kind of news they might possibly have.

There seems to be a number of people talking about a 3DS port. I don't think that's far fetched really. Seems a lot more viable than the Vita atm. Especially if they want to continue the series on it as well (they already said they've been working on a Type-1 framework). I'd say either that or a PS3 remaster is a good choice, though Sony's apparent rule of "you can only bring over a PSP remaster to the West if it's in a bundle with another game and has trophies" (incredibly dumb rule btw) seems like it'd stop that if they wanted to bring it over.

Hopefully SE doesn't just choose not to bring it over at all though. Game seems really good and dat Ishimoto OST needs to be heard by more people too:

Sounds just like Crisis Core which had an amazing OST, very unique sound.

I'm not denying a 3DS port, even though to me it's highly unlikely.

What I'm denying is that this news is about this port. One thing is to know the cousin of the neighbor of the guy who cuts the hair of the Voice over actor that leaked he's working on a weird project called eff eff type-something. Can happen.

The other is having inside news about a japanese megaton. Nope.

You guys should really push Square Enix to release Final Fantasy Type-0 in the west on Vita or something. Just a suggestion anyway ;)

Hmm, I think that kills any translation confirmation news for today. Maybe not, cause of the ";)" in the end, but jeez, what a teaser, if its not that.

 

Now the question remains, what the hell is interesting enough for this game other than localization news? They misteriously uncovered plans for Vita port? - what the hell? This could be big.

Well they said "Final Fantasy Type-0 fans... keep an eye out for an interesting thing tomorrow.".

So the message is adressed at current fans of the game, which means it wouldn't make sense that a localization is what the news is about.

So it's likely a port and most likely on the Vita because the port most likely started before the Vita was declared dead in Japan.
