Still, should the petitions garner 25,000 signatures in a month, they will require an official response from the Obama administration.

Ill be rooting for this

They'll be lucky to even get a thousand. l0l

They already have 23,000

Seriously? LOL

Man....well good luck with convincing the government....kudos to them for attempting such a feat.

Oh no, 40k signatures! That's almost 0.2% of the population of Texas! Man, they're close to a majority -- we may have to grant their request.

Texas is welcome to leave if you ask me, but the petition for Majora's Mask 3D has more signatures than that, so I won't get my hopes up.

I'll glady trade Texas for Majora's Mask 3D

You and me both. And I would be curious to see how Texas would handle the immigration issue if they had free reign -- would they just start randomly executing everyone who looks hispanic? Or would they just put them on a boat and ship them off to South America?

Realistically i doubt Texas would be that bad to them. I mean, the border is already pretty secure. The only stuff would largely be the rolling back of gay and reproductive rights (Texas was the state fighting against the supreme court case that made homosexual sex a protected act)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

The Government should give those states a taste of what secession would be like by pulling most of the military resources out. Not just base closings but pulling business away from the various contractors as well. That would be a massive hit to their local economies.
