umm GT waited until Monday to release the review because they wanted to capture the footage themselves. I am not too certain that this was about 'spoilers'.

What was it about then?

Do we need to spell it out for you? Microsoft has footage they sent out for people to use in their video reviews. You find nothing wrong with that?
This essentially would make all video reviews the same. Although I'm sure reviewers rearranged the footage and gave their own scores based on their own experiences.

Question is how many are actually doing video reviews. I can't think of that many. And since GT is not using that footage it's even less.

Around the Network

So? Early reviews always have restrictions. Mgs4 has one I think about mentioning load times and that was actually mattered

lol.. if you log on onto any media/press account of any publisher you can find next to high res quality images suitable for print, all the trailers in HQ, all the Boxart in HQ, all promotional Art in HQ, Logos in HQ, lots of video footage in HD format.. do people expect reviewers to take a picture with their digital camera and then  cut out the logos, artwork, screenshots from when they are playing?

example of the konami (fastest password I could remember) dutch  media account:

yes it's pink.. I don't know why..

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

because of spoilers

Halo 4 is at 87 on metacritic. So whatever you think MS tried to do to grease the wheels of reviewers didnt work out.

But its simple: video review footage should be spoiler free. MS gave footage that wouldnt give too much away.
