4 years from now, I don't think you're going to be as happy as you are tonight.

It'll be fun watching the country and how it deals with a ~$20 trillion debt and higher interest rates.

It's too bad because electing Mitt would've solved the problem immediately.

I thought that's why people elected Obama 4 years ago.

You mean how he said the road ahead is long and hard? How we'd need to make sacrifices? How we're shooting for goals 20 years ahead? How this is a long term strategy?

More than likely Obama's next four years will be just as shitty as the last 4, but he can just blame Bush and that gives room for the next democratic president to win.

More than likely America is still in trouble because America has to fix a lot of problems. More than likely, this will again be blamed on Obama.

If anything was blammed on Obama he wouln't have won. He will also be blameless if the next 4 years get even worse.

I don't think he's going blame anyone any more, it's not like he can run for president again, he pretty much safe to do whatever he wants now

Nearly 50% of people did blame him for it. He will be blamed if things get worse, and rightly so.

The Electoral College needs to go. Popular vote should rule, this system is just so ridiculous. The overall vote is split, yet the final score is 303 to 203. It makes no sense, and it should've been changed after the 2000 election when the winner received less votes than the loser. This just gives credence to those saying that your vote doesn't really count. It does count, just not in a fair, rational, or meaningful way.

Thats the problem, the bush Hatred was so intense before the ecnomy even fell but Obama gets a fraction of it. Republicans are just hated by so many people.  Any republican with the ecnomic numbers Obama has would have lost by a huge margin. 50% of the people shouldn't hold you accountable for a record.

I wouldn't be surprised if Obama approval rating starts sinking to all time lows and by 2016 a new president will put all the blame on obama and the democrates, and everyone in america will be fooled by the media once again

Just watched Obama's victory speech in Chicago. Terrific speech -- very inclusive, very conciliatory, very mindful of urgent issues going forward.

I second that considering I have high distaste for the Electoral College.

I'm glad to see Obama re-elected, hopefully he can fix America's problems now

Yeah i can't believe how the number of votes vary by state. Places like Montana and the dakotas have just 3 votes compared to Texas, 39 votes and California, 55 votes, not fair at all. The popular vote is the only thing that should replace the electoral college
