Nearly 50% of people did blame him for it. He will be blamed if things get worse, and rightly so.

Thats the problem, the bush Hatred was so intense before the ecnomy even fell but Obama gets a fraction of it. Republicans are just hated by so many people.  Any republican with the ecnomic numbers Obama has would have lost by a huge margin. 50% of the people shouldn't hold you accountable for a record.
