If our resident GameStop insider is to be believed, then Halo 4 should have around 1.5m pre-orders in the USA by now. It's seriously undertracked on VGChartz!! (as in BO2 and Asscreed)
My prediction threads:
Wii U will sell under 40m units (made on 14th September 2012)
PS Vita will sell under 20m units (made on 30th September 2012)
Wii U will sell under 7m in 2013 - I was right

I agree as much as the next guy that it looks absolutely pants. But it's Insomniac. As much as I was put off by their previous trailer, if there is one development studio left in the whole world that I would trust to get things right, it's Insomniac. 16 years of quality games with barely a step wrong along the way (says the guy with the Spyro avatar xD) I haven't pre-ordered the game yet; but I can completely understand why some people would have. Loyalty and faith in a studio still exists, Insomniac are no different. |
I do like Insomniac, but look at the Overstrike trailer and then the Fuse trailer, EA clearly has put their hand in there and stunted Insomniac's creative freedom purely to appeal to the military shooter crowd. Even if the gameplay remains unchanged, the aesthetics lack that style the original Overstrike trailer had.
God of War Ascension is about 2x the pre-orders of God of War III in 22 weeks from launch :D
God of War 3 failed to reach 500k, I think Ascension will reach that easily with the upcoming beta and hopefully good marketing.
I wish Sony would do an Ascension bundle. This will be the type of game that sells PS3s. There are tons of 360 owners that need a little incentive to switch over. It works for Microsoft with Gears and Halo.
