Also, I may actually have to import this game for a physical copy, and I HATE importing, but if I can get the legendary edition and with postage to the UK it isn't too expensive, I'll probably go for it...

It says ingame cards though, does that mean they'll be DLC I have to activate through the Playstation Store, and if so, does it means they'll only work on the US Store... infact, if I get the US version, will I be able to buy DLC from the EU store and will it work... and ALSO, will I be locked to the US servers, or be able to play the EU servers? I want to play with my mates since they told me today they're getting it too, but aren't bothered that it's digital only here... wish I could say the same, but my memory card is getting full (PSOne and PSP games) and I DESPISE digital to be quite honest... unless it's only a small game that actually suits digital, a full release game like this with lots of content NEEDS to be physical in my opinion

Kinda late as I've been away on a "vacation" if you call whatever i did a vacation...anyways

1. In-game cares included in the legendary edition are, base on what the package looks like, actual collectible cards that are base on the cards in game. Meaning, other than having some "actuall cards" in your hands, their useless.

2. dlc may not work if you have a US game and download from the EU store. I tried restoring my backup made from an Asian English localized version of the game to the US version I got from PSN and wouldn't you know it, its not compatible. Had to restart all over losing 160+ hours of hard earned cards/weapons/cash... not entirely sure but if its any indication, it wont work.

3. you will be locked to the US servers as it would seem that each region has its own server. Again, the Japanese only version cannot play with those with Asian English Version.

4. If you wanna play with your mates, try ad-hoc, might work for different regions, though not really sure. But if you have the same region game, its a blast. Plus you can earn trophies through ad-hoc. unlike some other stupid game that treats ad-hoc vs from online-vs...(i'm looking at you capcom)

5. its only 1.1GB (The US version at least), while I heard that the Jap version is 1.5GB

6. Lastly, there haven't been any dlc worth a damn from the asian version, just head gears, a costume or two and a monster card thingy. No extra missions since all extra missions released for Japan are included already as.....yup "extra missions"

Sooooo.... who's been playing Ragnarok Odyssey? How do you guys find the game?

I sold my Asian version in favor of a digital version from the US PSN store so that I can play it on my two Vitas. Like I mentioned, the Asian verison backup is not compatible so I had to re-play the entire thing.

Anyways, except for two missions in chapter 9, I've already finished the story (again) in under 15 hours this time! lol! Either I'm now that good or XSEED toned down the difficulty.

If you guys have questions on who drops what, dont hesitate to ask, though there are still some drops that eludes me. I can also give tips on tactics and stuff. But I cant help you guys out in-game coz my net is toooooo slow, plus I cant setup my router to NAT type 3.

Also, if anyone is interested, especially for those using sword warrior, i'll be sharing Hjahanir Card Rarityh 7 and 4. 7 gives hjahanir edge which adds a shock wave to all attacks and does a damage of ONE to all enemies but porings ahahahaha! useless damage wise but good for filling up SP. 4 gives hjahanir skin which gives strong resistance to poison deadly poison and bind!

Or... i could just share cards randomly everyday through near

I'm loving it! Played with Mugen, Dgc1808, Kitler & others here for hours yesterday. We had a blast.

Add me on PSN (Euphoria14) and give me free goodies through Near.

Im currently on 4-1.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Is the Ragnarok Odyssey an endless grinding or is there a story to progress (in multiplayer)? Do you have to restart the multiplayer mode if you finish the story (if there is one)? I didn't care for the game at first so I didn't pay much attention but everyone seems to like it.

that IGN reviewer is retarded, he compared it to Monster Hunter while saying its repetitive, well MH is repetitive as fuck.

1. yes it is an endless grinding fest for drops  but there is a story to progress which can be done through single player and or multiplayer.

2. no, you dont hacve to restart the story in multiplayer mode. once you finish the story in single player mode or through multiplayer mode, much like monster hunter, you can replay any level, chapter you please. as long as you have progressed through that chapter in multiplayer or sinlge player, it can be selected and replayed in both.

@pulluspardus, I just take out the extremes. The stupidly high scores and the ridiculously low scores and go by what the majority thinks. Since most likely the ones with the insanely high scores are probably fanboys while the stupidly low scores are haters.

Also, now sharing
Orc Chief Card
Skill: Chief's life Lesson Lv 3
Increases Max health and defense.

just send me a friend request if you want this card

(dont have a lot of cards yet, as card drops are rarer in this version it would seem...maybe its just me)

i'm having a lot of fun but as i was saying last night, i was surprised it doesn't have a more open world format. i heard "monster hunter" like and i guess i assumed. does that mean i also have the wrong impression of MH and eventually SS?

anyways, the gameplay is great. i was just expecting more of a party up and explore to find bosses sort of dynamic, sort of a mini version of WoW were instead of being MMO it would be just 4 of us per world. great co-op gameplay though. lot's of fun.

i need to get a better handle on things though, with euphoria and such power leveling me i feel i may have missed out on some of the basics. lol at not learning how to cast my heal until chapter 3. ..what a useful cleric i am. :P
