Ok, so I have about 470 some odd dollars of amazon gift card saved up on my account. Bought some books, a new watch, and still has this much left. I am thinking about getting the Vita for this Xmas, so I can play at night when I am on call and the hospital is quiet.

So if i get it around the end of this year (Black friday or so); i am expecting some sort of bundle or discount.

What games would you guys recommend, I am thinking:

1. LBP Vita (it's a game within a game, hopefully user generated content can help fill in time gaps of new release)

2. Gravity Rush (Heard good things and apperantely sold enough for them to THINK about making a second one)

3. Uncharted GA (still on the fence, may get a used copy)

4. Rayman Origin (looks like it can be fun, may get a used copy)

5. Soul Sacrifice (when it comes)

6. Persona

its up to you man. not a good place to ask something about the vita. the vita is dead party should be here shortly.

I say a solid Yes. I suggest buying the AC:L Vita Bundle. You will get the game (which is looking fantastic btw) and a memory card in addition to the console. For the rest of the year I will be buying

Ragnarok Odyssey
AC:Liberation
NFS MW
PS All Stars

also in November PS+ is gonna hit the vita so there will be a lot of content there as well..not to mention the newly launched PS Mobile.

do you already have Playstation Plus?
starting november there seem to be vita games being included into the mix, so maybe that'll help you make your decision if something like Uncharted GA (seems likely to me) is being offered there

it look like you already have a few games you want to play on it and there should be some good stuff coming for the rest of the year aswell so it probably is a decent time to get one. do you have a ps3 aswell? they have good connectivity together.

Wait for price drop. Shall be coming shortly after xmas. Very beginning of Q2 2013.

To be fair, the "Vita is dead" people do have a point to some extent. The Vita isn't doing great right now, and no one knows how well devs outside of Sony will support it in the future. If this is a major concern, then I'd say hold off. However, if you feel like you'd be getting your money's worth based on what's been announced and what is currently out, then I say go for it. A lot of systems that had short lives still had some great games worth buying.

Nope ..if he wants to get input on people who actually owns the system and actually knows about the current and upcoming games...the best place in this forum is the official thread. Shouldn't be such a hard thing to understand. 

I rather not get into the whole topic about vita doomers and gloomers...cuz it's just outright stupid and I might end up saying things some may not like hearing. The only reason why I even posted in this thread is so I can help the guy out. So let's just keep it at that.
