Knight Lautrec any hints where i find this dude? i saved him from prison but he does not show up :(

Firelink Shrine near the Fire Keeper Cell bellow the stairs. You should have killed him, because he will kill the fire keeper and you wont longer be able to rest there. Also, you could have gotten a Ring of favour and protection, an extremly useful ring, especially for lov levels and beginners

You can summon him in the room next to the room from the ladders that lead to where you fight the gargoyles. The guy who told you to save him can also be summoned right before the white fog door. You have to be human to summon. I didn't find Lautrec but I wanted the other guys help for the gargoyles since they killed me several times. Just so happens there was a guy who invaded me while I was climbing a ladder and he just stood at the top and killed me with firebombs when I got to the top...bastard. Just a warning someone might be there to ambush you cheap like if you go there human. Summoning Lautrec first might give you the advantage over an invader though.

The place I'm referring to is the parish's upstairs. You know, the bells they mentioned. I didn't find the stairway up there at first and unded up heading down to blightown before I realized I missed something. Had to backtrack. The world is starting to shape and form a little better now that I've been wandering around. Still a few doors I missed that I'm going to search for before I venture off underground again.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

yea i know :P , i summoned a tank for the gargoiles , did you cut the gargoyle tail ? i got an axe and a cool helm :D

Yes, attacking from behind was my strategy but it wasn't until I used the gold resin that I was able to defeat them. That helm's description says not to expect much from it defense wise, but looking at its stats I'm like, I don't know, sure beats a hooded mask. I can't use the axe but the bending motion from a strong swing is pretty sick.

LOL, i can 1 or 2 shot gargoyles with most of my weapons

Well I didn't look up anything. Sure, I missed a ton of stuff, but I had my very own experience. I just hate this "do everything this way and in this order, it's the most efficient way". This is not how RPG's are supposed to be played.

I just think that the game is most fun when you try to figure it all out yourself, at least on the first playthrough. You don't need to know about every single thing the game offers to master it. I only talked about the games with friends after I beat them the first time and then we discussed how everyone experienced it. On my second playthrough I incorporated the stuff I learned from their experience.

I agree with this very much.

I only started to look up stuff when I got into real trouble beating a boss, like after having died maybe 30-40 times on Smough & Ornstein and getting extremely frustrated.

And now that I've alreayd finished it once I am obviously looking up lots of stuff to be able to earn the Platinum trophy.
