| Chandler said: Well I didn't look up anything. Sure, I missed a ton of stuff, but I had my very own experience. I just hate this "do everything this way and in this order, it's the most efficient way". This is not how RPG's are supposed to be played. I just think that the game is most fun when you try to figure it all out yourself, at least on the first playthrough. You don't need to know about every single thing the game offers to master it. I only talked about the games with friends after I beat them the first time and then we discussed how everyone experienced it. On my second playthrough I incorporated the stuff I learned from their experience. |
I agree with this very much.
I only started to look up stuff when I got into real trouble beating a boss, like after having died maybe 30-40 times on Smough & Ornstein and getting extremely frustrated.
And now that I've alreayd finished it once I am obviously looking up lots of stuff to be able to earn the Platinum trophy.
