I was not aware of a GBA - GC crossplay ability, as I hardly saw the GC with my own eyes before I started to frequent the internet. No one I knew had it. Which games supported it?

Some minor and some huge gameplay changes. Zelda four swords is the most famous

Also Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles

Whats the definition of Crossplay? Just asking beacuse, for FFCC you could use the GBA to play the gam (and needed it for multiplayer), but you couldn't play if you only had the GBA. Btw, I loved that game.

WTF, Nintendo copying Sony yet again with this cross play!? Sony should sue

Nintendo did Crossplay before it was cool. Remember GBA <--> GC. No, my sarcasm detector is not broken, just sayin'

Also, Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate is Monster Hunter 3G HD in Japan and a release game alongside the amazing NSMBU? Japan is pretty much secured now for Nintendo. There will be no war.

That painfully long demonstration of the Luigi's Mansion ghost chasing mini game at E3 was essentially another version of the Miyamoto designed Pac-Man Vs game that they had as the focal point of the GBA/GC link up.

You're right actually.  FFCC used the GBA as a tablet-esque device.  Four Swords was a much better example.

Hmm... finally a HD Monster Hunter?

... I may actually have to buy a Wii U for this, lol.

Does anyone know if Wii U will play normal Wii games too? If so that'll be handy since I'll be able to plug it into my PC monitor and sit in my comfy chair to play those games too...

It does. I don't know about gamecube games, but I think it does too.

This is from gaf

Monster Hunter Tri
# Small Monsters: 17
# Large Monsters: 18
# Total Monsters: 35

Monster Hunter Tri G
# Small Monsters: 22
# Large Monsters: 50
# Total Monsters: 72

wow, looks like a lot... can the new version upgrades the game by the same amount?

I spent 1000 hours in Monster Hunter Tri with those 18 Boss Monsters. I might not live to see the end of Tri-Ultimate.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

Pacman VS and some Final fantasy game, chrystal Chronicles I believe. Also, Zelda: Four Swords.

Tri Ultimate will not add anything. It's just a western name for 3G. But even then... double the number of monsters... yikes!

I don't know, I fear I might lose some thousand hours on this too.

I played Tri. 3G added a lot. 3G is not out in the West. Ultimate will be. Ultimate is 3G. Ultimate adds a lot.  Sorry, I am a little tired from this day. THIS FUCKING DAY!

Btw the additions are not only new monsters. there is at least one new area, new weapon types (dual swords, gun lance, hunting horn, bow), a whole new difficulty level and finally real epic armor sets with badass stats and not those wannabe high end sets in Tri. The additions are massive, I am wet now.

I'm not sure how MH on consoles will be all that beneficial as the series is only dominant on handhelds. (Honestly, I'll buy the 3DS way before I consider the Wii U or any console version)
