I predicted the original wii was going to be a big flop despite being a huge fan of their earlier consoles. I couldn't see why people would pay serious money for a gamecube with a new controller.

In fact from memory my predictions for various consoles were;

PS1: successful
Saturn: unsuccessful
N64 unsuccessful
Dreamcast: unsuccessful
PS2: Successful (despite not being a fan of it)
Gamecube: Successful
Original Xbox: Successful
Xbox 360: Successful
PS3: Successful
wii: unsuccessful
wii u: successful
PS4: successful
xbox one: unsuccessful

In hindsight I think my views are skewed slightly towards favouring powerful hardware as likely to be successful.

This is what I would like to happen but don't forsee it. Easily will destroy Microsoft. Once Smash Bros and Mario Kat 8 come out, Nintendo owns America. When X and Shine Megami X Fire Emblem, they own Japan. Now maybe Bayonetta 2 will do the trick in Europe?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I win if Bayonetta 2 does wonders for Wii U in Europe. They seem to like their games violent.

To be honest I thought the WiiU was going to be Nintys PSOne. I also thought it would have a Power7 CPU and be much closer to the competition hardware wise. How everything came crashing down XD



I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime. 

The NX will be a 900p machine

That is an extremely subjective claim especially considering Nintendo's Art Direction.

That being said, MK8 comes out this year right? Exatly 546 days after the interanational release of the Wii U is the interational release of MK8, approximately 1 year and 6 months after Wii U's release.

Conversely, XB1 and PS4 have been avaliable for about 5-6 months

Nintendo Fan's really shouldn't talk about Graphics, gameplay is a much more convicing argument.
