In order to get the general public(not just yourself) what price do you think Vita would have to drop to?

I honestly don't think that the issue lies with Vita's price, but with price of the memory cards. Because 200€ Vita and 32GB card are not a 220€ combo which would be the case if Vita used MicroSD, but are 290€ combo. They should half the prices of current memory cards and introduce a 64GB card.

I think the general public would need a price under 200$, preferably including a big memory card.

People probably have a perception that $250 is too much because you can play angry birds on a kindle fire or nook for $200. Also the memory cards are way too expensive. I think for people to buy them it has to be $160-180 because the memory cards are so expensive. People that are serious about gaming will probably pay $200.

For me good games will force me to buy one, its not necessarily about price. A real Gran Turismo, Infamous, Killzone, maybe gta or red dead.

if a real red dead game came out on the vita ill buy the damn thing right NOW! heck ill pay up to 300 for everything just to play it!

Assuming I'd have to spend at least $25 on memory card and $30 on a game, I wouldn't pay more than $150 for a Vita.

I'm not suggesting it isn't worth more than that to some folks, but that is the upper limit of what it is worth, to me.

The price is actually fine. Many people were so excited when they heard it would be $250, especially on the heels of what Nintendo tried to pull. It was the memory card news that broke the camel's back. Bundle a decent mem card at no charge and it would sell a LOT better.

i agree. The mem card thing is sorta ridiculous. The close endedness of the Vita was a real turn off when I got it. I have to install crap on PC just to transfer and I no longer can just drag and drop. Also can't use my portable like a flashdrive anymore :/. Stupid Propri shit.

They should AT LEAST be a lot cheaper for the huge inconveniences they cause.

They should stop producing the 4GB model. Lower the 8GB at current 4GB's price and bundle it with every Vita, lower the price of 16GB to 8GB etc; and in end release the 64GB for 90€/$.
