Looks like MW3 is overtracked in US?

Black OPS was the only one that innovated. MW3 just gave us MW2 with new guns. BLOPS tried something different, hence the sales difference. Maybe it's just that more people bought BO, as CoD fanboys will buy anything.

Your average Nintendo gamer, DEATH TO IGN lol My 3DS friend code is gone somewhere. If you would like to recieve it, please PM (does this site have PMs?) me.

I would love to see a comparison between Halo 3 and Halo Reach NPD numbers because my theory is that Halo is on a decline.

The small sales decline for MW3 I think has more to do with the overall drop in market SW sales rather than the COD series losing popularity. COD is really hurting all other shooters out there, and hurting them bad.

nope. Vgchartz only has mw3 at 13.6mil in USA. Looks like black ops is massively undertracked since vgchartz only has it at 14.1mil

Ubisoft released USA NPD figures in which till Sep 2011 Reach sold 4.7m in USA. So yes the decline was pretty big because Halo 3 sold way more. But Halo 4 will be better indicator since its numbred title.

You are right, i just looked at sales of both games which are close in VGZ. But It seem Black Ops is massively undertracked in US and overtracked in rest of the world. Because In August 2011 black Ops shipped 25m so VGZ sales are almost spot on WW.

NPD doesnt track sofware thats bundled with hardware.

So Halo Reach might be overtracked by VGC since we have it at 5.7 mill for USA until end of 2011.

Yes, Halo 4 is indeed a better indicator of Halo's popularity, but that's what my predicition is about - that Halo 4 won't pass 10 million lifetime worldwide, and perhaps more importantly, that COD will crush Halo 4 on Xbox LIVE active player numbers.

Black Ops is undertracked!

Black Ops on 360 is already above 15m sales.

Mw3 didnt sell as much WW as Black Ops or USA.

Mw3 sucks. Black Ops is much better.

I dont think NPD even tracks all of Americas either.
