I think this was a test to see if the sales improvements surpasses the costs of the price cut. So a test that we'll see results in 3 months or so - because the price will be cut, no doubt about it (going by their sales sales forecast )

But maybe Japan will get one first, it needs the most.

Yeah, it does look really nice! The slimes are great and I really like the DQ series!

The only thing I was surprised about was how "clear" the edges looked. I guess I didn't really notice before as it's harder to see on my Red Gundam 3DS ( http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b258/smbu2000/games/P1000320_a.jpg ), but on the white one it's very easy to make out.

I've only had the chance to play about an hour of DQM: Terry, but I'm enjoying it so far. Reminds me of DQM: Joker so far. I just finished DQVI (DS) a few months ago, so it's nice to see some characters from the game again! The 3D effect isn't very pronounced though, so it doesn't really matter if I have the 3D slider on or off. Haven't had a chance to test out the new 3DS yet.
